KILN DELIVERY INFORMATION
What are the options for Kiln Delivery?
We offer three options for getting your kiln to you:
-
Collection from Kettles HQ
-
Kerbside Delivery
-
Kettles Personal Delivery
Which one should I choose?
CHOOSE KERBSIDE DELIVERY
-
If you are happy for your kiln to be delivered to a kerbside location only, usually the nearest safe, accessible point at the edge of your property.
-
Drivers will NOT enter your property or bring the kiln inside. They cannot carry items across steps, down paths, or into garages.
-
Delivery is carried out using a pump truck and tail lift, so ground access must be flat, firm, and level. Loose ground, gravel, steep inclines, or uneven surfaces may prevent delivery.
-
Drivers are not obliged to move the kiln beyond the kerbside and cannot help with unpacking or moving the kiln inside your property.
-
Please ensure the delivery point is clear of obstacles, such as parked cars, barriers, or debris, so the vehicle can safely unload.
-
If you need the kiln moved inside, up steps, or into a garage or garden, choose Kettles Personal Delivery instead.
-----------------------------------
CHOOSE KETTLES PERSONAL DELIVERY
-
For delivery into a specific location that involves steps, narrow paths, alleys, or garden routes.
-
This option requires discussion with us for a delivery quote.
-
We need the following information before quoting:
-

Which floor the kiln is going to
-
Number of steps from the pavement to the kiln’s location
-
Measurements of doorways, garden gates, and spaces between walls/fences
-

-
Parking information – can we stop right outside the house?
-
Photos/video of access including tricky parts (doorways, corners, uneven surfaces.

This ensures we can quote accurately and deliver safely.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information.
