Lavendear is a highly pigmented, viscous Stroke & Coat® glaze that can provide both brush strokes and opaque coverage in a Cone 06 oxidation firing. It can be applied in one coat for a translucent finish, with additional coats increasing opacity. For full opacity and all over coverage, we recommend two to three coats. This glaze will fire to a gloss finish without the need for a clear glaze. In a Cone 6 oxidation firing, it will appear semi-opaque and there will be no color change.
