Sour Apple is a highly pigmented and thick glaze in Mayco's Stroke & Coat line. This versatile glaze can be used for brush strokes or to achieve opaque coverage. For a translucent finish, one coat is recommended, while two to three coats will provide full opacity and complete coverage. When fired, it will produce a glossy finish without the need for clear glaze. In the Cone 6 firing range, it has a semi-transparent quality and its color may lighten to SC-78 Lime Light.
