Long double ended tools with flat metal ribbon “strip” ends that have ground cutting edges. Ribbon tools are so named as they are made out of flattened metal ribbons with sharpened edges. They are used mainly to trim the bases of thrown pots, but also to hollow out handmade shapes, especially sculptural forms. Available in a variety of shapes and sizes for all types of clay work.
